Francois X. Bangamwabo

Mr. Francois – X. Bangamwabo holds a LL.B from the University of Zimbabwe, and a LL.M from the National University of Ireland – Galway. He also obtained a UN Fellowship in international law at The Hague Academy of International Law. He is an admitted legal practitioner& Notary Publicof the High Court of Zimbabwe as well as the High Court of Namibia. He is also an Accredited Mediator of the High Court of Namibia.

Mr. Bangamwabo is a former Senior Law Lecturer at the University of Namibia, Faculty of Law as from 2007-2016. He  has lectured the following modules: law of contract; family law; commercial law; law of evidence; succession law; law of arbitration; law of delict; and public international law. He has researched and published in many areas of law (both domestic and international law).

He currently lectures Civil Procedure & Practice (High Court & Supreme Court) at Justice Training Centre (UNAM). His areas of interest include, but not limited to: civil & criminal litigation in corporate law; public law; private law; commercial law; criminal justice; alternative dispute resolution; labour law; human rights law; intellectual property law; and international law.

Clement J. Daniels
Clement J. DanielsSenior Consultant

 

Mr. Clement J. Daniels is an admitted legal practitioner with the High Court of Namibia and specialises in Labour Law and Human Rights. He completed his BIuris (1988) and LLB (1993) degrees at the University of Western Cape and an Advance Diploma in Labour Law (ADL) at the University of Johannesburg in 1998.

He was admitted as a Legal Practitioner of the High Court of Namibia in May 1996 and is since focussing on Labour law and Human Rights related litigation, training and research. He also served as a temporary magistrate in Keetmanshoop and Windhoek between 2006 and 2008.He has a special interest in media law and is currently the Media Ombudsman for Namibia. He was previously employed with the Legal Assistance Centre, a public interest law centre for fifteen years and served as the Director of the organisation from January 2000 until June 2004. He now serves as chairperson of the Legal Assistance Trust.

Mr Daniels also has vast experience in corporate law and governance having served as the Legal Advisor and Company Secretary of the Namibian Standards Institution (NSI) for many years.
